When I asked on Instagram who you needed the most help shopping for, the most popular request by a long shot was for the guys in your life. So I’m starting this year’s gift guides with them–ideas for your husband, for your father in law, and your brother. Guides for the tech lover, for the DIYer, and for the athlete (or wannabe athlete). And I also threw in a fail safe option, a sweater round up. Is there anything easier than buying a man a sweater? They always need one. And they never buy them for themselves.
And if you want to skip the pretty collages and go straight to the products, you can shop over 60 of my favorite picks for guys this year here, directly on my LTK page. Or check out my Amazon gift guide for the guys.
What to Buy Your Husband
Many of these items are gifts I’ve bought for Robert (my husband), or are planning on buying for Robert. (Sshh, don’t tell him.) The solo stove firepit looks so cool, and there isn’t a guy in my life who doesn’t love his Yeti cooler. A nice travel bag is also a great option. (I purchased this one for Robert last Christmas.)

What to Buy Your Father in Law
Probably the hardest catagory of them all! Slippers are my default, always. Scarfs and gloves never hurt, either. For something a bit more outside the box, I like a nice chess set or travel dopp kit. And this Boomers vs. Millenials game is currently in my cart, waiting for me to decide the perfect recipient.

What to Buy Your Brother
Altnernative title: the casual guy gift guide. I saved the “fun” stuff for your brother. He can thank me later for the grilled cheese toaster or the bottle opener made from used MLB baseball bats.

What to Buy the DIY Guy
90% of these were chosen by Robert, the DIY guy in my life. He thought adding the hammer was “funny.” I found the personalized tape measures though, and it just might end up in his stocking.

I’ve also got a DIY gift guide on Amazon, too.
What to Buy the Tech Lover
Admittedly, I’m not the most tech-savvy, so take this one with a grain of salt. And you don’t have to love tech to love most of these picks. I’m partial to the charging station/nightstand organizer, because a similar one has totally transformed Robert’s nightstand. We also love and use our gimbal stablizer all the time.

What to Buy the Athlete (or the Guy Who Just Loves Sports)
If the guy you’re buying for works out or is looking to start, I can’t recommend the Bowflex adjustable weight set enough. Robert and I both use these weights almost every time we work out. They’re a must-have for a home gym in my opinion. And you can let the guys in on the Stanley tumbler action with the flip straw tumbler--Robert uses his every day. I also always purchase Robert new Lululemon socks and put them in his stocking every year.

The Fail Safe: Buy Him a Sweater
When it doubt, go cable knit or half zip. Although I’m partial to a grandpa-style cardigan! Robert wore this one for our holiday family photos this year.

I’ll be rolling out gift guides all week long, so check back for more gift inspiration soon. And if you have any requests, feel free to leave them in the comments.
